Matthew joined ASTeC via the graduate scheme in 2018, after working for the Mantid software group at ISIS.

During his time in the AP group he has​ been focussed on building up the high-level software development and increasing the production quality of software across the CLARA High-level applications. He also works closely with the Controls group on developing the Virtual CLARA system that involves a virtual analogue of the CLARA controls system with access to the Simulation Framework to simulate beam dynamics.
