Peter McIntosh represented ASTeC at the 3rd LA3NET Novel Acceleration Techniques Workshop, held at HZDR Rossendorf from 28-30 April 2014. Peter presented a review of conventional RF technology perspectives in terms of broad ranging accelerator applications, as a basis for comparison to laser-driven, plasma wakefield and dielectric acceleration processes and techniques.
