Between 26-27 March, the Compact Particle Accelerators for Isotope Production (link opens in a new window) meeting took place at the Cockcroft Institute at Daresbury Laboratory, bringing together industry, clinicians and academia to explore how accelerator technologies can be applied to future medical isotope production needs. Novel compact accelerator technologies, novel irradiation methods and 99mTc production methods were amongst the topics under discussion.
