ASTeC carries out accelerator research and development across a very large number of projects and programmes. Our overarching mission is to deliver benefits to society through our research. These benefits are achieved both directly and indirectly, through research delivered nationally and internationally at the facilities we underpin. We maximise the societal impact of our research by applying our expertise to direct applications in healthcare, security, and industry.
