After the first successful exploitation period on CLARA earlier this year, we are now announcing a call for proposals under direct access mode for beam exploitation experiments starting from 15th January 2020. The plan is to allocate ~70 shifts for external exploitation distributed over a period of 6 months to allow beam characterisation, machine development and regular machine maintenance to be interspersed in the schedule.

If you plan to apply for beam time, we ask that you complete the form and return to (VELACLARABEAM@stfc.ac.uk) by 15th August 2019. The beamtime access panel will evaluate the proposals in conjunction with internally generated technical assessments and the outcome will be communicated to you by end of October 2019.
